Culinary School Le Cordon Bleu Madrid - Chef Yann Barraud in a demonstration class

Diplomas and Certificates

Courses at Le Cordon Bleu Madrid range from certificates earned in just 11 weeks to the coveted Le Grand Diplôme, a 9-month program in cuisine and pastry, considered the passport to the culinary world!

The programs in Le Cordon Bleu encourage the pupil to discover the principles and fundamental techniques of cuisine and pastry, and draw the contemporary tendencies of culinary art nearer to the pupil.

The classic cycles include Le Grand Diplôme®, the most renowned Le Cordon Bleu program, which contains both the pastry and the cuisine diplomas. Depending on students’ interests and needs, they may either take both courses, hence attaining Le Grand Diplôme, or choose one of the two diplomas which comprise it.

There is also the possibility of taking the courses in individual certificates which compose each diploma, starting always with the basic level and having the opportunity to finish the rest of the levels in the future.

The entry to the institution may be effectuated, as long as there is a vacancy, in any of the four quarterly starting dates held in: January, April, July and October.
